Roar

We got to go with Easton today on his field trip to the dinosaur museum. It was pretty cool!

He even got to play in some sand and water and bury trees and dinosaurs.

Luke took the opportunity to have a little snack. Nom nom nom.

East was a little wary of the Great White. I've always had a strange fear/fascination with them. They make me scurred too, E.

It was a great trip! I think maybe, just maybe East thought he was going to see real dinos, not just bones. He did a good job of hiding his disappointment if that was the case. Good fun.

*Is it lame that I'm following the trend of putting a vintage filter on my photos? I like it. Did you know you can try lots of different filters for free at rollip dot com? Ta da. Try it.

Lucky Mama

I get to snuggle this little love muffin all day. He loves to sleep wrapped like a burrito. There are times when I am feeding him or rocking him to sleep, thinking of everything else that needs to get done. It's good to sit back and realize I need to cherish these moments as they will be gone all too soon! He is already getting so big. I've said it before and I'll say it again...I can't believe how fast time flies.

A Saturday Night

It used to be that Saturday nights were for going out...making plans...seeing friends. Our lives have changed a bit since then. Dinner and baths and bedtimes make for a different sort of fun. These days a Saturday night might consist of some good old Lego buildin.

As I sat watching my little family, Randon being an awesome Daddy, playing with E, looking at my adorable little bubba observing and playing, I just felt so happy and grateful. To the world it sure might not seem like much, but simple times like these make me so happy.

*Easton's comment of the day as he was enjoying Rice Chex for breakfast..."Mom, these are gluten free."  Where did that kid come from?
