Life at a Glance

So many things I need to catch up on and want to remember...so...picture overload...
Cute brothers

Helping with laundry. He has grown so much since then.

Riding Chloe. haha

Date to Sanpete for Randon's birthday,

Lukie cuteness

Little Luke!! Sweet brothers.

Bath time

Celebrating Cinco de Mayo.
Honored Randon's mother on Memorial Day. Cool Luke and him pictured with his cousin, Ledger, 2 months older than he is.
We've had many long nights as Luke declined to join the rest of us in sleeping through the night. (He is doing much better now though. Fingers crossed.)
It was mostly healed by this point but Easton got a black eye after his first encounter with shooting a pellet gun. Randon was being so careful and didn't think the scope would kick back and get him Ouch! Dang it.
Oh...and before preschool ended we met Daddy to go to on the fieldtrip to the children's museum. So fun!

More to come...

Preschool Promotion

Clear back in May Easton had his "promotion" for preschool. He didn't graduate since he will be doing another year before kindergarten. Dang that school year cut off! :) Of course it was just the cutest thing ever. He loves school so much and I'm so happy he loves to learn.

Shaking Miss Karie's hand.
They did a whole presentation singing songs and reciting poems and even showed us their tumbling skills. Grandma Rass and Grandpa Russell were kind enough to come and we went to Chikfila for lunch. I am so proud of the great boy he is!

A couple days after promotion Miss Karie had a small carnival for the kids. It was so fun! Each student brought a game and prizes. We brought the knock the cups over game. Easton loved it!

Big E: Athlete Extrordinaire

Our little guy known as Easton has been busy! I haven't updated for so long and there is so much to catch up on! First off, East had his first experience with team sports. He first did indoor soccer. He loved it. He did okay, he was just happy to be out running with other kids. At times he would run with the little group huddled around the ball and then make a bee line for the other end of the field/court (whatever you call indoor soccer) and would just run in a huge circle all by himself. Pretty funny. When he heard me mention they would be getting trophies, he was over the moon excited.

After soccer, he started T-ball. Before his first day, we went to get him a mit. He thought it was so awesome he was able to get a bat, ball and mitt all with his name on it! He did really well and really enjoyed it. He did great hitting and loved showing how fast he could run from base to base. I think his favorite part was when his team was up to bat and he would sit and laugh and be silly with his teammates. It was so fun to watch him play. And his uniform was just the cutest thing ever.

Cutest boy ever.

Cheering on his bro. Luke loved the games. Another cutest boy ever.
High fiving the other team.
Another trophy? Life couldn't get any better.
Go Indians!

Luke Update

About 2 days after I last posted, Luke took off crawling and is loving his new found mobility. And I forgot to post his 9 month stats.
He was 29.6 inches tall
Weighed 23 pounds
And his noggin was 18.5 inches around.
Hooray!

Catching up on Lukie

Time is still flying by and my boys keep growing and things keep happening and I need to record them! Luke is now 9 months old. I can't believe it! I just love him so much. He is what I like to call my "high maintenance" baby. He loves to be held and I still can't say that he has slept through the night. But he is so darn cute he gets away with it!
*He is so darn close to being mobile. He is taking after his older brother and wants to skip crawling. He grabs our fingers to walk assisted everywhere, and stand by himself for a few seconds. Thus far he has taken 2 steps by himself! He also rocks on his hands and knees so he might take off crawling soon.
*He does pretty good eating. Well he'll at least take a bite of whatever we are eating and takes a few bites and is usually done. Daddy is naughty and gives him bites of bacon and potato chips and things and it looks like his tastes match his papa's!
*He watches Easton like a hawk. I know that he can't wait to be able to run around and play with him. The funnest thing is when they start giggling at eachother and each makes the other laugh even harder. Makes my heart happy.
*He loves Daddy so much. When he gets home from work, Luke starts to whimper, like, "Dad, you left me here with this woman all day! Rude!"
*He also loves his Grampa Rass. .
*He loves when we sing to him. He especially loves when we open the hymn book at church to sing. He has a big grin and even sings along sometimes.
*He is definitley a water baby. He loves the bath and has loves the pool even when its a little chilly.
* He has a favorite Elmo book that we read probably 10 times a day.
*He just started giving kisses more consistently and it melts my heart.
We love Luke so so much!

St. George Rassy Style

Oh look. I started this post in...uh...well we went on this trip in January. But that doesn't make it any less fun! My dad surprised me, my Mom, Kylee and Cass on Christmas Day with a trip to St. George complete with a package deal at the spa. I was so excited and thankful...I may have cried a little. It seems that since my sisters have gotten married and my mom has started working, we spend less time together. It was completely blissful. I got to sleep all night long...eat delicious food and spend time with some of my favorite people. This is after our first day of leisurely shopping when we decided to make some delicious food at the house and watch a movie. Ah...bliss.

Our resident chef making us jalepeno poppers and bruschetta and spinach dip.
Oh man. so good.
The next morning before heading to the spa we made fresh green smoothies. So yummy.
Freshness like that might make you dance while you blend.
Or like my dear mother, consume it with something equally refreshing.
On our way to the spa...
 backseat buddies...
At the spa excited as can be. Sans makeup of course so no judging.
After our treatments which were divine we got to eat lunch there.
After more shopping we spent the evening relaxing again. Ah...I want to go back.
It was so nice to have a break from life and laugh and eat and snort and nap and eat and talk and laugh. And on the way home, Cass and I came up with Car Yoga. For those long car trips. We are going to make a dvd and become millionaires.

Thanks Dad! That was the best gift ever.
And when I got home, my wonderful husband who had watched the boys all weekend had set up the crib to transition Luke from his cradle. And washed the bedding and laid it out all cute. He is the best.
