Awww...

This is the awesome work of my sister in law, Shana. So many cute pictures, I had a hard time choosing! I believe she is in the process of building her own blog to show off more of her wonderful talent. Thanks again Shana!

Playlist: Disclaimer

Hurry! Turn off the sound if you can't be listening to groovy music right now! Juuust kiddin. It was this reason though that I debated whether or not to put a playlist on my blog. I love music in all its forms, but I've been at work, for example, and clicked on a site that played music and was like "Oh, crap!". Yeah. Really. Oh crap. Okay not really, but I hate it too when you have your own jammin tunes on and then something else comes on and you are like "Wow...I don't recall Carrie Underwood doing a duet with Michael Jackson." Haha...wow...just read that, I sound like I'm going nuts. I'll blame it on the Antiques Roadshow on in the background. My parents' house is OFF THE HOOK tonight. :) Anyway... I've opted not to have my playlist auto-start, so if you'd like to listen to it, feel free to click the play button. Yes, I realize Michael Jackson is a crazed weirdo and that several of my selections belong on FM 100...but hey...oldies but goodies. Enjoy.

Better...

Okay, well weighed in today and lost 3.4 pounds. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that the last times I weighed in I wore jeans and a sweater and this time I wore light work out clothes. Oh no. Randon used to practically starve himself for wrestling and said I could run around a track wearing garbage bags to sweat and suck on a candy and spit in a garbage can. I'm pretty sure that will work great and sounds pretty healthy so count me in. He is nuts. Probably shouldn't worry though...only two weeks on weight watchers and look at my abs!Hahaha riiiiight... I actually don't know whether to laugh or cry. Is it really possible to have abs like this after a child? Aaaaand if your pre-baby abs were no where close to this? Someone please tell me its possible. I need motivation. I'm sure there are plenty of you hot mamas I see that just hide their rock hard abs under their modest clothing. Please come forward and tell me your secrets. (But I don't want to hear about you lucky people you had a flat stomach like this the day after birth and can eat whatever you want and not see a pound. Okay well actually I want to hear your stories too. Then I can daydream about being like you.)

What a Difference a Year Makes...

One year ago today...there we were in paradise. Would be nice to be somewhere like the Caribbean on a crazy snow day like today. So much has changed since then...who knows when we'll be able to take a fun vacation like that again. Fun memories though!

Check out Sarah's blog for some cute pictures of Easton. Shana was kind enough to take some the other day as well. I will post those when I get them.
*Fat Camp Update: 1 lb, yes just ONE pound lost for a week of starving. Grrrrr. I better get better results next week.

Fat Camp!

Thats what my sister in law, Chantel, calls it anyway. Ha haha I love it. I am now a member of Weight Watchers! Yeah baby. I'm so glad I can go with Shana and Chantel...it gives me so much more motivation. They already look awesome, I don't even know why they are going. Holy crap I have to lose 17 lbs to start off. Ouch. I'm really excited about it though, I've done it for...well only three days now, but I think I can handle it! Baby weight be gone!
As for another New Year's resolution...I want to be organized. I went with my mom to her enrichment night where they had a professional organizer speak. Inspirational? Yes. Make me feel like a slacker? Yes. She was talking about how there should be NO shoes on your closet floor. She was like...you really aren't going to pick them all up to vacuum under them. Lets get real. Do I vacuum the closet? Apparently now I will. Do you guys vacuum your closets? Anyway, I really admire those women who seem to have it all together all the time. I'll at least try to become better!

House. Mess. Log.

Our little home. Trying to make it feel more like home than a house. I thought I had lots of cute decorations...guess it was lots for a one bedroom apartment that was more the size of a closet. So now we have more of an empty house. All in good time I suppose. We are just happy to be there!

Sigh. So I find Randon dumping a bag of my clothes on the floor. He explains he is just helping unpack. So sweet...I'm finding that my clothes are overwhelming to unpack. Mainly because I need to throw so much away. So I start and pick something up. Well I never wear it...but it would be PERFECT if I was invited to a campfire...on the beach...and it was raining...and I was 10 lbs lighter. Everyone in their right mind would know to NEVER throw this away. And so I eventually end back at square one with bags of old clothes that I never wear.

Many of you have heard about the log but have yet to see it. Well here it is. Our house was a spec home so by the time we found the house and liked it, it was finished, log and all. Isn't it just beautiful? Does it match the rest of the house? Nope. Just a random log on the wall. Maybe we are supposed to put branches in it with little birds and all. Bring the outdoors in, you know? Hey, why not just chop little pieces off for firewood? Very handy. Wait... gas fireplace. Oh well.

I hope we aren't raising a male stripper...

I just about died hearing Easton laugh for the first time. For some reason, when I take his shirt off he just cracks up! No one else was ever around so I tried to catch it on my camera phone...now there is proof! Even though you can't really see cause its on night mode or something...you can still hear. I love it! My mom thinks he might be a stripper if he is so happy when I'm takin his clothes off... he doesn't laugh any other time when I tickle him or anything. Hahaha. He is getting so big I can't believe it. He loves to be right in the action and wants attention all the time. And....drum roll...he is sleeping through the night!!!! (Knock on wood.) Its truly a beautiful thing.

WE'RE IN!!

Hallelujah! We have actually moved in! It finally funded and we were able to move last Saturday. Randon had to work so I was thinking we wouldn't be moving, but I went outside and my dad had both trucks loaded up. Hmmm...somebody was excited for us to move out! :) Not really... thanks dad for your help! Everything is still a disaster. Slowly making my way out of the mess. Pictures to come soon...

A Late Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas! It was so fun being Santa for Easton...even though he could care less. I'm really excited for next year to make some of our own family traditions. Everything was laid back and relaxed this year. My brother got the Wii, we had fun playing that all day. (Knocked Randon out boxing. Two for two. Yeah baby!) Workin on those genius skills...
