Scene: We are laying on the floor by Easton's crib per his request after our night time ritual of scriptures and prayers followed by kisses, hugs and highfives. Yes. Highfives. Easton came up with that one himself. We listen in the dark as Easton tells Daddy about the tiny plates and spoons and cups he played with that day...
Easton: Maybe tomorrow we can have a tea party!
Randon: Um, no. Boys don't have tea parties. Boys have barbeques. (We have many manly rules around here. Boys don't paint their nails and they certainly don't have purses. They have bags.)
Easton: Boys have barbeques?
Randon: Yes, boys have barbeques. Girls can come too.
Easton: Girls have tea parties?
Randon: Yes.
Easton: So... girls have tea parties?
Randon & I: Yes buddy.
Easton: Me and you can have a barbeque, right Daddy?
Randon: We sure can, bud.
Easton: Wait. Girls have tea parties? And boys have barbeques?
Randon & I: Yep.
Easton: Why?
Randon: Just because that's what they like to do.
Easton: Oh.
**Long pause** Randon and myself think that maybe he is finally asleep.
Easton: So... girls have tea parties?

baby shower.
We threw a fun baby shower for my cousin, Danielle. She is having a little girl and it was so fun using girly stuff! I am so excited for her, here she is, drop dead gorgeous even while pregnant. She is going to be the best mom. We gave her a cute little dress, booties and a headband. They turned out pretty cute.
And I have to give a shout out to my sister in law, Niesha, who is also drop dead gorgeous, who just had her precious little baby girl, Kai! Little Kai is so tiny and perfect and adorable! Why, hello there, BABY HUNGER! I gave Niesh a similar set up. The little dress was my first clothing-sewing-project. Baby girl stuff is so fun that it motivated me to try... and surprisingly it didn't turn out too bad. Holla. (Hahaha. Did I just say that? Yes. Yes, I did.)
Congratulations, gorgeous women!
girls camp.
Girls camp was a success! We have so many awesome young women in our ward! There was lots of giggling and singing and nail painting and crafting and skitting and all that good stuff.
(And my fabulous niecy, Haili, did my hair super cool!!!)

Hangin with some of my cute Beehives...
Oh...and look who else was there! My beautiful mother!! And look! She is knitting. Weird. So actually, I was able to be at camp with my mom and dad, my sister and two nieces. And of course the rest of the wonderful ward. So fun.
All the gorgeous girls! What a fun time! I'm not gonna lie though...I sure was happy to get back to my bed and away from the allergies... |

red, white & blue.
Hahaha. This is Easton's face explaining to me why he really doesn't have time to smile.
Good times were had on the Fourth of July. Randon surprised me with Stadium of Fire tickets for my birthday. I sort of lurve Carrie Underwood. It was awesome.
So excited to be there. Tiny Carrie in the background.
Randon got to stand with all the Eagle Scouts. Awww. Presh.

i survived!
Randon finally made plans for us to go flying a couple of weeks ago. I was so excited. The love of my life had this major skill that I had never seen in practice! It was going to be great! Then we go to the airport. And I started to get nervous. Wow. This was a real airport. With real runways and everything. Yeah. Intense. Then we went out to the plane we were to fly. Then I got more nervous.
Inspected for what? Like something might go wrong? Gulp.
Then we actually got IN the plane. Which is where I really started sweating buckets. It was so small. Ack! So of course I masked my nervousness by making ridiculous faces in my totally hot headset.
Then Randon started the plane. And I died. Not really. But I was like, um...wait...I really don't think you are qualified to fly this thing. And then we taxied to the runway about to take off. And then I panicked and died. Then Randon slapped my face and told me to snap out of it. Not really. It was awesome.
It was so fun to get to be with him to fly. We got to fly over my mom's house where everyone was outside with Easton waving. So fun. I'm so proud of my hot hubby! He is an awesome pilot!!

lately...
We had a little fiesta to celebrate Cinco de Mayo...
(my handsome hombre, Braiden)
Easton did not like having a stach. He demanded that it be removed promptly.
We had a little party for Miss B's birthday. So fun. Trying to get four children to smile simultaneously...wow, I think it's impossible.
We have spent plenty of time at the park with great friends...

We went to Thanksgiving Point's farm country with Brynn and Becky, so fun...
(Ahhh! Is that a REAL smile I see?!)
Easton loved the pony ride. The pony was obviously named "Baby Bob". He really wanted to somehow get Baby Bob together to ride with Daddy and Original Bob.
(...aaaand we're back to his trademark "I'm in pain" smile.)
Easton enjoyed his first Tigers Blood snowcone. Mmmmm.
There has been much swimming and of course fishing and camping out with Daddy...
such a big helper...

Studying and flying with Dad...
(It kinda looks like Randon is asleep. Hopefully that isn't how he flies.)
I was able to enjoy a trip with Randon's sisters to St. George where we got to see Brian Regan...
(the sisters minus the cute Niesha who was taking the pic)
We are lovin summer!
